Viva Welsh gin! Nestled in the Wye Valley, the Silver Circle Distillery is a family-run affair with an incredible gin-making experience that’s sure to steal any gin lover’s heart.
Silver Circle Gin Distillery started life in 2019, launched by husband and wife team, Jo and Nina. Since then this small Welsh distillery has been packing a punch in the world of craft spirits by creating gins inspired by the richness of the Monmouthshire countryside.
The Silver Circle Gin Distillery offer three fabulous gins: Wye Valley Gin, Catbrook Honey Gin and Gunga Gin (specially created for The Libertines), as well as cocktail kits, Damson Negroni, Blackberry Liqueur, Poached Pear Vodka and their delicious own-brand cocktail, No Aviation.
Pop in for a drink, visit their shop, explore the distillery on 45-minute tour or enjoy a 2.5 hour ‘make your own gin’ experience – which we highly recommended (see our full review here). The Silver Circle Distillery gin-making experience includes:
- Learning how gin is made
- Sampling and learning about botanicals
- Sampling several varieties of craft gin
- Creating an original gin recipe
- Distilling the recipe in one of the miniature copper stills
- Blending, measuring and bottling the gin
- A 70cl bottle of your own gin to take home.
