Mallams is the oldest firm of auctioneers in Oxford having been established 225 years ago by Richard Mallam (1756 – 1837) who started a small auctioneering business from his house in Gloucester Green in 1788. The present auction room in Oxford is now on St Michael’s Street, and we have expanded further afield with sales rooms in both Abingdon and Cheltenham’s city centre.
