Run by the lovely owner, Sarah, on part of the family’s farm, the yurts are the ideal place to retreat to with family, friends or as a couple for a little TLC, courtesy of Mother Nature. Whether you decide to stay in Potter’s Lodge, Beaumont’s Hideaway or Milne’s Corner (with its own private wood-fried hot tub), you’ll enjoy boutique-style luxury in each.
From the plump super king-sized beds, sofa beds and day beds, to the luxury shower rooms (complete with with Neal’s Yard toiletries) and cosy log burners and candles (there is no electricity in the yurts but charging facilities are available in the cooking cabin).
Potter’s Lodge – 3 x 6 metre all-weather yurt, sleeps up to 6 people. Includes a wood burning stove for heat and for cooking as well as a gas stove. Beaumont’s Hideaway – 3 x 6 metre weather-proof yurt, sleeps up to 6 people. Includes a wood burning stove for heat and for cooking as well as a gas stove. King-sized bed, along with a daybeds and sofa bed (bedding, linen and towels provided). Lockable, fully-heated shower room with a toilet, vanity basin with backlit mirror and large shower. You can book the main hot tub for your exclusive use, free of charge.
Milne’s Corner – 3 x 6 metre weather-proof yurt, sleeps up to 6 people, complete with a private wood fired hot tub. The hot tub will be lit and warming up ready for your arrival. Complimentary logs are provided. Inside the yurt there’s a wood burning stove for heat and for cooking as well as a gas stove. King-sized bed, along with a daybeds and sofa bed (bedding, linen and towels provided). Lockable, fully-heated shower room with a separate toilet and wash basin.
Beyond your yurt, there’s a central 8-person hot tub, which you can book privately for your use, as well as a Finnish BBQ hut seating 24 people – where you can enjoy food cooked over an open flame, regardless of the weather.
There’s also the well-equipped kitchen cabin (with an electric range cooker and fridge with freezer space for each yurt), an onsite play area for children, (with a play house, swings and a slide) and large, spacious, warm washrooms and shower block, near to the car park and just over a minute’s walk from the yurts.
