The summer holidays are upon us! Let’s get summer 2019 off to a cracking start. How about a circus on a ship? Or one of the world’s largest air shows? Or if you fancy something a little more magical, a free (my favourite word) Harry Potter tour. There is something for everyone this glorious summer, weekend.

Event | International Royal Air Tattoo, RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire

The Royal International Air Tattoo is one of the world’s biggest and best air shows, fun for all the family with hundreds of aircrafts doing a variety of dazzling displays. Your socks may well get knocked off by the sheer noise some of these gigantic aircrafts make. Expect to see live orchestral concerts, exhibits and displays from serving and veteran RAF men and women, hands on technology displays for kids and more aircrafts than you could possibly imagine.
Event | Summer Spectacular with The Invisible Circus, Bristol

A circus show like no other. Combine an almost 200-year-old ship with a motley crew of circus acts and you’ve got yourself a great weekend. Set amongst the rafters of Brunel’s SS Great Britain, The Invisible Circus will wow you with hourly performances from 11am to 3pm. The circus will be taking over the ship with aerial acrobatics, juggling and fire breathing! Lots of ‘ooo’s’ and ‘aaaahs’ please everyone.

Calling all witches, wizards and muggles. Are you potty for Harry Potter? With your wands at the ready explore parts of London that have been touched by the wizarding world, with this free walking tour. This tour takes you to some of the most iconic London settings from the Harry Potter films and ends with a chance to shop some magical merch.

Festival season is fully upon us, time to stick glitter to your face and sample one too many beverages. What better place to do it than in the iconic musical city of Liverpool? Liverpool’s International Music Festival is showcasing some class acts this year with the likes of Ella Eyre, Sigma, Nile Rogers and Chic taking to the stage along with many more musical talents. This weekend-long festival is only £11 per person and under 12’s go free!

Whether you know your downward dog from your sun worshipper, or if you’re a complete yoga novice, Yoga in the park is for everyone to unwind surrounded by nature. Yoga expert Jaz will take you through the motions at your own pace, so why not come along and give it your best shot.
