Event | Humbug, a Killer Christmas Murder Mystery, National Justice Museum, Nottingham
Sat 21st Dec | Tickets: £39.99
You have been cordially invited by Scrooge himself to the Nation Justice Museum’s murder mystery night. The year is 1853. Scrooge has abandoned his miserable ways, but will the other guests behave?
Get into character, step back in time and join everyone for a night of fun and frivolity and, of course, Christmas cheer. Enjoy a welcome drink of mulled wine to warm you before you’re ushered into court to be welcomed by your host.
Once the murder takes place, you’ve the chance to tour the museum, looking for clues and interviewing suspects. You finish the night with a delicious three course Christmas meal – and hopefully the murderer behind bars.

The UK’s original and biggest lantern festival returns for its sixth year, this winter. Hundreds of beautiful lanterns illuminate Longleat’s grounds, transforming the estate as darkness falls. This year the theme is Myths and Legends – bringing you epic stories from around the world; from the gods and magical beings of ancient Greece, to heroic tales of British folklore.
Expect to see Pegasus, the genie in the lamp, the Kraken and the Chimera, as well as Zeus, Hercules, Medusa, Aphrodite and so many more. Keep your wits about you as you venture through a garden filled with mythical creatures – this really is the stuff of legends.
