Discover Bristol’s hidden and haunted secrets on an exhilarating private ghost walk of the historic city that’s sure to give you goosebumps.
The Haunted and Hidden ghost walk is run by Bristol local history expert, John Hughes, and takes you round the winding streets of Bristol to the most haunted pubs, places and crumbling buildings.
Get up close and personal with Central Bristol’s oldest pub and its 15 ghosts; the UK’s most haunted cinema and a church in the Old City haunted by a murdered monk – as well as many more spooky spots.
Featured in TV’s ‘Most Haunted’ and now in its 15th year, the 75-minute Bristol ghost walk runs on Friday nights, starting at 8pm from College Green. And costs a very affordable £5!
If you’re afraid of things that go bump in the night, don’t worry. This is not just a ghost walk. Before Covid-19, Bristol’s media industry was booming: Poldark, Dr Who, Skins, Sherlock and Being Human are just a handful of dramas filmed on Bristol’s streets and your Haunted and Hidden guide will show you all the famous locations.
You’ll finish in the historic Harbourside by the newly-refurbished Bristol Old Vic (the oldest working theatre in the country). Not only will you get to appreciate the character and vibrancy of Bristol, but you’ll come away with a head full of stories.
Booking ahead is a must as the ghost walk will be run for small numbers so that you can maintain social distancing.
NB: We work hard to be accurate, but these are strange times, so please check that events are still happening with the operator themselves. Thanks!
