Just a 2-minute meander down to the beach and positioned in the middle of popular Broad Street, The Hideaway certainly hits the spot when it comes to location. Stay here and you’re right in the heart of the action when it comes to exploring Lyme Regis’ charismatic high street. It’s also equally situated for couples after a sandy-toed seaside escape because you’re moments way from Lyme’s gorgeous beach front and promenade. But don’t worry about noise, the apartment faces away from town so it’s quieter than you might expect for such a central location.

Completely refurbished for summer 2022 (and set below the much-loved Baker’s Loft property run by Jurassic Properties), The Hideaway has been immaculately decorated throughout in soft spring greens and yellows with country-style furnishings adding a rural charm to each room.
The gorgeously high-spec and spacious kitchen has ample room for those wishing to cook up a culinary storm during their self-catering stay, being fully equipped with all your staycation needs (oven and hob, fridge, washing machine). The living and dining area is sophisticatedly cosy featuring wooden floor boards and bold contrasting painted walls. There is a dining table for 2 and a chic teal sofa for romantic nights snuggled in front of the Smart TV. The adjoining conservatory offers an additional sunny space to sip your morning brew with idyllic views out to the garden.
The bedroom has equal charm, sporting sage green walls and a dreamy brushed-brass double bed. Whilst compact in size, there is still room for all your bits and bobs as drawers and an open wardrobe offer good storage. And for rinsing off those sandy toes, the jolly yellow-tiled bathroom has a bath with overhead shower and super-soft John Lewis towels.
The garden
Whilst truly beautiful inside, The Hideaway’s pièce de resistance has to be its stunning secluded garden – scoring some serious top marks from us. Step out of the conservatory glass doors into a delightful stoned-walled terrace, bordered by established rosemary and lavender plants. A decked area with bistro table and chairs provides a sun-kissed spot to dine alfresco whilst an upper grassed area houses traditional wooden deckchairs to make the most of those lazy afternoons.
Best of all, there’s a Scandinavian style wood-fired hot tub. It is dreamy with views out to sea that are hard to take your eyes off. Enjoy the aroma and crackle of the fresh wood fire as you relax, glass of complimentary fizz in hand. Honestly, Dorset never looked so good.
