Sleepy Owl Treehouses in Devon are the rockstars of the treehouse world. Nest Treehouse | Sleeps 2 (with space for 2 children) | Two bath tubs, inside and out
With a gold roll top bath at the end of your super-king four poster bed, another bath on the deck facing south, AND a cinema projector, you’d be forgiven for thinking you’d died and gone to the big treehouse in the sky. But no. This heaven on earth is simply the Nest Treehouse.
A show-stopper from the start, Nest Treehouse has been beautifully handcrafted with a sweeping living room that cuddles you within its wooden wallls so you’re sure to feel blissed out. There’s a plump sofa beside a wood burning stove and underfloor heating for year-long toastiness. You’ll also find a stunning high-end Scandi-style kitchen and a top-of-the-range bathroom. Outside, on the wrap-around deck, you can spend the evening star-gazing (you’re in a Certified Dark Sky area after all), marinating in the wood-fired hot tub (set in a private courtyard) or smoochin’ in the Fatboy couples’ hammock.
Hideout Treehouse | Sleeps 2 (with space for 2 children) | Unique moving bath tub
All hail the UK’s first treehouse with a moving bath tub. Yes, stay in the Hideout Treehouse and you can fling open the bi-fold doors in your bedroom, slide your copper bath tub outside and soak your worries away whilst you’re eye level with the birds. Should that sort of luxury tire you (as if), lower the mini drawbridge and tip-toe across to the hot tub for an evening of bubbles. There’s even your own private walkway to the woods. Amen.
When you get peckish, there’s a rustic kitchen inside or the pizza oven and BBQ outside with views onto the woods. Then, before floating into your super-king bed, flick on Netflix on the cinema projector, light the log burner and huddle-up. This is living the high life and then some.

Not to be out-shined, the Cosy Cowshed is a masterfully designed bolthole full of attention-getting innovations and special touches. From the stunning partly-covered terrace where you can cook alfresco in the pizza oven to the fabulous Hikki hot tub where time slows right down.
Inside, expect spaces with rustic ‘ooo la la’: there’s a gorgeous master bedroom with a super king-sized bed and movie projector (of course), a Victorian-inspired bathroom and a charming twin room where kids sleep under mini canopies like little knights and princesses. No bull, this Cowshed is sublime.
